چکیده
The natural hosts of Orthohantaviruses are rodents, soricomorphs and bats, it is well known that they may cause serious or even fatal diseases among humans worldwide. virus persistent animals shed via urine, saliva feces throughout the entirety their lives. We aim to identify effectiveness hantavirus detection in rodent tissue samples urine originating from naturally infected rodents. Initially, were trapped at five distinct locations Transdanubian region Hungary. Lung, liver, kidney obtained 163 deceased animals. All organs tested using nested reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (nRT-PCR). Furthermore, sera examined for IgG antibodies against Dobrava–Belgrade (DOBV) Puumala (PUUV) by Western blot assay. hantaviruses and/or nucleic acid detected 25 (15.3%) cases. Among Apodemus, Myodes, Microtus species, DOBV, PUUV Tula (TULV) clearly identified. Amid PCR-positive samples, viruses was most effectively (100%), while only 55% screened lung tissues positive. Interestingly, three out 20 positive when nRT-PCR. Moreover, rodents seropositive without detectable any organs.

hydrochlorothiazide detection in urine samples by hplc-dad and experimental design dispersive l-l microextraction
hydrochlorothiazide (hct) is a diuretic agent which is shown to be effective in the treatment of hypertension. literature reports have demonstrated that urinary excretion data may be used to assess the bioavailability of various formulations containing this thiazide. also hct consumption by the athletes is one of the drugs which should be regulated by world anti-doping agency (wada), because of...
Detection of a Yersinia pestis gene homologue in rodent samples
A homologue to a widely used genetic marker, pla, for Yersinia pestis has been identified in tissue samples of two species of rat (Rattus rattus and Rattus norvegicus) and of mice (Mus musculus and Apodemus sylvaticus) using a microarray based platform to screen for zoonotic pathogens of interest. Samples were from urban locations in the UK (Liverpool) and Canada (Vancouver). The results indica...
متن کاملDetection of Somatic Mutation in Exon 12 of DNA Polymerase β in Ovarian Cancer Tissue Samples
Background: DNA polymerase β (pol β) is a key enzyme of base excision repair pathway. It is a 1-kb gene consisting of 14 exons. Its catalytic part lies between exon 8 and exon 14. Exon 12 has a role in deoxyribonucleotide triphosphate selection for nucleotide transferase activity. Methods: Genomic DNA was isolated from ovarian carcinoma samples. Single strand conformation polymorphism...
متن کاملQuantitative PCR detection of feline morbillivirus in cat urine samples
Feline morbillivirus (FmoPV) is a new virus species and its detection is important, since correlation has been reported between FmoPV virus infection and tubulointerstitial nephritis in cats. Here, we report a real-time reverse transcription (RT)-PCR system that can detect the FmoPV L-gene sequence with more than 10-time higher sensitivity than a conventional PCR system, resulting in detection ...
متن کاملRapid detection of CTX-M-producing Enterobacteriaceae in urine samples.
OBJECTIVES CTX-M extended-spectrum beta-lactamases (ESBLs) are emerging worldwide. Fast and reliable detection techniques may become mandatory for implementing proper treatment and infection control measures. Here, a bla(CTX-M)-specific LightCycler real-time PCR (LC-PCR) assay based on hybridization probes was developed. METHODS Urine samples positive for Gram-negative bacilli as revealed by ...
